Terms Of Service
Last updated: June 3, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the MusicLink API ("the Service") operated by Emircan Gezer (Jadquir), an individual based in Turkey. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
The Service is accessible at ml.jadquir.com and the API is available at api.ml.jadquir.com.
For questions, contact us at musiclink@jadquir.com.
#1. The Service
MusicLink API is a developer API that accepts a music track identifier — such as an ISRC code, or a track ID from Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer, or Tidal — and attempts to resolve and return corresponding links for that track across multiple streaming and music platforms.
#2. How the Service Works
The Service queries publicly available APIs, web resources, and music platform data to find streaming links for a given track. Resolved results are cached in our database (Supabase) and returned for subsequent lookups without re-fetching. By using the Service you acknowledge and agree that:
- Links are provided on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee that any specific platform link will be present, correct, or functional in any given response.
- Links may be inaccurate or stale. Platform catalogs, regions, and URLs change over time. A link that worked previously may become invalid.
- Not all platforms will be represented. A track may not be available on every platform we support, may be region-locked, or may not be discoverable through the sources we use.
- First-time lookups may be slow. When a track has never been resolved before, the API may take 10–15 seconds or longer to respond while data is gathered across platforms. Subsequent lookups for the same track are served from cache and return much faster.
- We are not affiliated with Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer, Tidal, YouTube, or any other streaming service. We do not have special data access agreements with these platforms.
#3. Accounts and API Keys
To use the Service, you must create an account. Authentication is handled by Clerk. You are responsible for:
- Keeping your API key confidential
- All activity that occurs under your API key
- Not sharing your API key publicly or embedding it in client-side code
If you believe your API key has been compromised, rotate it immediately from your dashboard. You may delete your account at any time through Clerk's account management panel (profile icon → Manage Account → Security → Delete Account). Upon deletion, your API key is invalidated and your data is handled per our Privacy Policy.
API Key Rotation: You may rotate your API key at any time from the dashboard. Rotating your key immediately and permanently invalidates the previous key — all API requests made with the old key will return 401 Unauthorized at once. You are solely responsible for updating any integrations or services that use your key before or after rotating it. MusicLink is not responsible for any service disruptions, downtime, or data loss caused by key rotation.
#4. Plans, Billing, and Payments
The Service offers a free tier and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed and managed through Polar.sh. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to Polar.sh's terms of service and authorize recurring billing.
- Free tier includes 300 API requests per month at no charge, with no credit card required.
- Paid plans unlock higher request limits. Plan details and pricing are listed on the pricing page.
- Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period. You may cancel at any time through your Polar.sh account or the dashboard. Upon cancellation, a webhook from Polar.sh will immediately downgrade your account to the free tier — you will not be billed again but no partial refund is issued for the remaining period.
#Refunds
We do not offer refunds for change-of-mind cancellations. However, if the Service was materially unavailable or non-functional for a significant portion of your subscription period due to an issue on our end, you may contact us at musiclink@jadquir.com to request a refund or credit. Each request will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
#5. Rate Limits
Each plan has a monthly request quota and per-second/per-minute rate limits. When a limit is exceeded the API returns 429 Too Many Requests with a Retry-After header. Attempting to circumvent rate limits (e.g. using multiple API keys to aggregate quota) is a violation of these Terms.
#6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation
- Infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party
- Build a competing music link resolution API that substantially replicates the core functionality of this Service
- Resell or sublicense API access to third parties without written permission
- Send abusive, malicious, or excessive requests intended to degrade the Service for other users
- Attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service or its infrastructure
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, at our sole discretion.
#7. Intellectual Property
- Your data: You retain ownership of any track identifiers or content you submit.
- Resolved track data: The metadata and streaming links returned by the Service are sourced from publicly available third-party platform data. We do not claim ownership of that data.
- The Service itself: The MusicLink API platform, branding, and code are owned by Emircan Gezer. You may not copy, reproduce, or reverse-engineer the Service.
#8. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
IN PARTICULAR:
- We do not warrant that streaming links returned by the Service are accurate, complete, or up to date.
- We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at any given time.
- We are not responsible for any content on third-party platforms that our links point to.
#9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL EMIRCAN GEZER (JADQUIR) BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE — EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING UNDER THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
#10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Emircan Gezer (Jadquir) from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.
#11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your API key will be invalidated and your data will be handled per our Privacy Policy.
#12. Changes to the Service
We reserve the right to modify, limit, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes but are not obligated to do so. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
#13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Turkey.
#14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent revision. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
